Rory Cheyne is a Toronto-based production designer whose work can be seen on the critically acclaimed Amazon Prime series “American Gods” Season 2. He is currently working on the highly anticipated new TV series “Locke and Key” for Netflix. Rory has worked on several projects outside of the film industry. In 2002, he had a key role in the concept design for multiple stages, as well as the overall creative look for World Youth Day. The event hosted over 1 million people in Toronto, including the late Pope John Paul II, whom he had the honour of meeting. He also led a design team in creating and executing trade show exhibits for the Green Living Show. Rory has collaborated with architect Anne-Rachel Schiffmann on various industrial design projects in 2004 in New York City. Rory is a graduate of the prestigious Ontario College of Art and Design with a degree in Environmental Design. He was recently nominated for a Canadian Screen Award for the CTV hit series “Cardinal” Season 2. He joined the American Gods team in Season 1 through his relationship with Byran Fuller which he had worked with on the NBC series “Hannibal”
